John James
Guro 4th Degree
John started martial arts in 1980 with Feng Shou Kung Fu, training under Grand Master Prof. Chee Soo and gained a 2nd Tengi (2nd Black Belt Instructor grade).
After training in Feng Shou, Aikido, and various Tai Chi styles for many years he joined Rapid Arnis under John Harvey and Pat O'Malley in London in 1995. Since 1999 he has been a constant member of the GB Team which he captained successfully through the WEKAF World Championships in Cebu in 2000.
John 'the sniper' James is known for his technical fighting ability in both WEKAF style and limited armour fighting.
John has also fought many No-Rules style fights in the caged arena with the cage-fighting promoters Anger Management.
He is currently a 4th degree black belt, Head Instructor under John Harvey and teaches in and around Bristol.
